The Great Wildebeest Calving Migration Safari is specially crafted to follow the awe-inspiring wildebeest migration in the Serengeti from December to April. This safari explores the Lake Ndutu area along with the Southern and Central Serengeti, where the majority of the wildebeest gather to give birth. A visit to the renowned Ngorongoro Crater is also included to enhance the safari experience. The Southern Serengeti and Ndutu are the prime spots from January to March, where thousands of wildebeest graze on lush short grass plains. This period is also thrilling for predator sightings—with cheetah, lion, hyena, and leopard action at its peak—offering incredible chances to witness dramatic hunts and kills amidst the breathtaking landscape. Day 1 - Arusha City – Ndutu Area

After breakfast, we will set off for Ndutu area situated in the Ngorongoro conservation area, which is part of the southern Serengeti eco-system

Ndutu Area Description: Lake Ndutu like most other rift lakes is alkaline however the water is still drinkable and consumed by a wide array of local wildlife. The majority of the wildebeest migration can normally be found on the short-grass plains from December to April. The area is usually heavily populated with elephant, birds and resident game. Day 2-4 - Ndutu Area

This day is for a full day of game viewing in the Ndutu area.

Day 5 - Drive to Arusha

In the morning, you will have a game viewing in Ndutu then later proceed to Arusha City or Kilimanjaro International airport for your onward flight.
