Itinerary Overview

Day 1 | The Rift Valley: Lake Manyara National Park Your adventure begins with a professional briefing in Arusha before we drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, this park is a mosaic of habitats. We will spend the afternoon searching for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, massive troops of baboons, and the vibrant birdlife that thrives along the lakeshore.

Day 2 | Into the Wild: Serengeti National Park After breakfast, we head toward the Highlands, crossing the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before descending into the vast, golden plains of the Serengeti. The name "Serengeti" comes from the Maasai word Siringet, meaning "endless plains." We enjoy a game drive en route to the heart of the park, stopping for a picnic lunch amidst the wild.

Day 3 | The Serengeti Spirit & Ngorongoro Rim We begin with a sunrise game drive, the best time to witness predators like cheetahs, leopards, and lions on the hunt. After a mid-morning brunch, we continue our exploration of the Serengeti’s kopjes (rocky outcrops) before winding our way back up to the Ngorongoro Crater rim. The change in air and vegetation offers a dramatic conclusion to the day.

After a scenic lunch by the hippo pool, we ascend the crater walls and begin our return journey to Arusha.
